Job description

Are you passionate about driving quality and innovation in manufacturing? Join AGC Automotive Americas - a global leader in glass technology - as an On-Site Quality Coordinator working at the Bellefontaine Ohio location reporting to the AGC Richmond, KY Float Glass facility.
In this critical role, you'll be at the heart of our fabrication location evaluating incoming float glass from our production process at Richmond KY, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of optical clarity and physical performance. You'll collaborate with other teams to implement and improve quality systems, optimize manufacturing processes, and develop methods that keep us ahead of the competition.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, detailed oriented and values continuous improvement, self-motivated, detail oriented, and is excited to make a meaningful impact on both our operations and customer satisfaction through being a liaison between supplier and customer.
What You Will Do:
  • Champion quality, consistency, and process improvement across the float glass manufacturing process.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control systems through adhering to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, IATF 16949:2016 and company-specific quality standards.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and implement corrective actions to prevent future defects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve problems and drive motivation and innovation.
  • Minimal travel is required.
