We provide these services in multiple computing environments and use technologies such as client/server architecture, object-oriented programming languages and tools, distributed database management systems, state-of-the-art networking, and communications infrastructures. Job Description

The Engineer will be responsible for building, administrating and supporting core services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kickstart, Jumpstart), Windows systems, Linux and Solaris systems in a mission-critical, 24/7 ecommerce environment.

Required Skills:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience.
  • Very Strong in providing recommendations/best practices in all major IT plans including server and domain security,ย design enhancements, application and OS evaluations/upgrades, server migrations and infrastructure alterations.
  • Well versed with version control tools such as CVS-based version control and SVN, JIRA, Jenkins and has fullย understanding of the release process.
  • Expertise in providing 24x7 technical support to all UNIX and Windows systems, infrastructure services on callย rotation and resolving them.
  • 2003/2008/2012 Active Directory administration, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS administration, operations, maintenance, and troubleshootingย 
  • Solaris administration, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Windows system internals.
  • Experience on various API hooking mechanisms on Microsoft Windows.
  • Experience with InfoBlox (DHCP, DNS, IPAM), Ironport, and DNS.
  • Extensive experience with Centrify configuration, management and rollout
  • LDAP - (SunOne/Oracle LDAP, OpenLDAP, Centrify Server, etc)
  • Experience and working knowledge system configuration management and orchestration
  • Technical experience with scripting (PHP, Perl or Ruby, Python, Bash) and programming languages like Java and C are a plus
  • Experience in upgrading, administrating VCS a plus
  • Excellent documentation (report writing) and verbal communication skills.
