  • Facilitate communication and alignment between school-day and after-school staff to ensure students experience a cohesive learning environment.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to schools by providing responsive, solutions-oriented support that strengthens program implementation and student outcomes.
  • Support regional and school-based family engagement efforts that foster strong partnerships with caregivers and communities.

  • Ensure all after-school programs remain compliant with Department of Health (DOH), Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), and KIPP NYC operational requirements.
  • Lead mock site visits and readiness assessments to prepare schools for compliance reviews and audits.
  • Provide on-site leadership and operational support during compliance visits and other critical events.
  • Conduct regular audits of program documentation, operational systems, and compliance records.
  • Monitor program implementation and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen systems and operational effectiveness.

Data & Continuous Improvement

  • Use observational data, family and student feedback, program metrics, and site performance data to evaluate program quality.
  • Partner with Program Directors to develop action plans that improve student engagement, program quality, and operational performance.
  • Monitor trends across schools and recommend strategies that strengthen after-school programming network-wide.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement by using data to inform decision-making and resource allocation.

Professional Learning & Leadership Development

  • Design and facilitate professional learning experiences for Program Directors and Assistant Program Directors.
  • Build leadership capacity through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Support implementation of regional initiatives, operational systems, and best practices across all after-school sites.
