OSSE Certified After School Educator Washington, DC

Apollo After School is hiring! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable educators to join our after-school programs in DC.

We are seeking candidates who are OSSE certified with an active DELT profile, or who have completed the OSSE certification process, and who are passionate about creating engaging, positive, and supportive experiences for students.

Pay: Starting at $23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Requirements:
OSSE Certified / DELT profile preferred (or experience going through the OSSE certification process)

Availability to work Monday through Friday in aftercare hours
Experience working with school-age children

Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills

Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Environment:
  • Able to stay active and on your feet for extended periods.
  • Able to move quickly (walk, jog, or run) to ensure student safety.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and participating in physical activities with children.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
