Job description

Position Summary

The Dismissal Support staff plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and smooth dismissal of Girls Inc. participants from our after-school program. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to child safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and facilitate the orderly dismissal of participants each afternoon.
  • Check IDs and verify that pick-up individuals are listed as authorized in the Compass platform.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with parents/guardians, including calling families when someone is running late for pick-up.
  • Uphold Girls Inc. policies and procedures related to child safety and family communication.
  • Report any safety concerns or discrepancies to the Program Coordinator immediately.


Qualifications:

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable using digital tools like Compass or similar platforms.
