Job description
The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently two Before and After School Program Educators.
Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development.
A passion for creating an environment of kindness and character development is a must!
Preschool Teacher Benefits:

Preschool Teacher Requirements:
• Kindness and strong character
• Desire to nurture children and help them to grow to help make the world a better place
• CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
• 90 Hour Preschool Certificate Preferred. School is willing to provide tuition assistance, if not currently certified.
• EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
• Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM - 6:00PM
Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:
• helping the school age children with Homework
• Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
• Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
• Understanding and implementing Goddard's Health & Safety procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
