Job description
 
The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently two Before and After School Program Educators.
Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development.
A passion for creating an environment of kindness and character development is a must!

Preschool Teacher Requirements:

● CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
â—Ź 90 Hour Preschool Certificate Preferred. School is willing to provide tuition assistance, if not currently certified.
â—Ź EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
● Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM
 
Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:
 
â—Ź helping the school age children with Homework
â—Ź Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
â—Ź Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
â—Ź Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
● Understanding and implementing Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
 
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
