Job Overview & Responsibilities

At ULA, as a Propulsion Systems Engineer for the ULA Software Department you are responsible for developing and testing integrated solutions related to the automated launch site command control & communication software.  You will be applying fluids, thermodynamic, mechanical systems design, and systems engineering principles to develop and test requirements used to develop software that ensures the health and safety of the launch crew and launch vehicle during critical operations including launch.  A core responsibility of the group is ensuring that changes driven from other groups are properly integrated into both Ground Fluids Software Requirements and Parameters.  You will develop, update, and maintain software requirements and parameters for and within the ground fluids software, and verify and validate ground fluids software by performing option level and integrated testing of ground fluids software. Team members will support testing of launch pad and vehicle system interfaces with Ground Fluids Software.  Be ready to support engineering, production, or launch activity that requires use of ground fluids software, or technical input/review of data related to the functioning of ground fluids software.

You will work with a highly collaborative team in an Agile environment. You will engage with Product Owners, Technology Architects, Airborne and Ground Hardware Design Engineers, Launch Site Operators and Software Developers on cross-functional activities to design, develop, and test cutting-edge software and launch vehicle solutions.
