Job description

Front Desk Clerk-RV Resort
Angel Fire Resort is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to work at our RV Resort this summer. This position will assist guests with reservations and RV inquiries, maintain the gift shop, ensure transactions are done properly, and work with outside grounds associates and management to keep the RV Resort operating smoothly. We are looking for an applicant with strong computer skills and the ability to learn quickly. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and will have attention to detail.
Base Pay: Starts at $14/hr
Location: Angel Fire RV Resort
Employee Type: Hourly, non-exempt
Job Category: Part time, Seasonal
Leadership Responsibilities: No
Required Certs or Licenses: Driver's License
Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled

Typical Shift: 8am-4pm
Environment: This is a mostly indoor position, with some outside tasks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Greets, registers, and assigns sites to RV Resort guests.
  • Rings up transactions and collects payment from guests.
  • Instructs guests on how to get to their site locations & where to park.
  • Provides pertinent information about the RV Resort and AFR amenities.
  • Receives and transmits telephone messages.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to AFR services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, resort activities, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Keeps records of site availability and guests' accounts.
  • Makes and confirms reservations.
  • Posts charges such as site, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger.
  • Assists guests and groups in making reservations at other AFR amenities.
  • Communicates with housekeeping and building maintenance to facilitate customer needs.
  • Assists the Lodging Manager with coordinating special events by participating the development, planning, and execution of the events.
