Job description

$22-$24 per hour

Overview
Assistant RV Resort Managers support the resort by learning and assisting with the day to day operations at a Sun RV Resort which includes, management, office administration, marketing, and maintenance/grounds. They also serve as a day-to-day point of contact for guests and residents.
Job Duties
  • Ensures compliance of policies designed to increase team member safety. Completes and submits workers' compensation accident reports and incident reports on a timely basis. (Essential)
  • Ensures compliance with the federal, state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations. (Essential)
  • Handles and reports emergencies that may arise onsite, insuring adherence to standard operating procedures. (Essential)
  • Handles resident and guest complaints/inquiries in a timely & professional manner by communicating through a variety of means, and offers solutions consistent with guidelines established by Sun. Written correspondence to inquiries must be sent by the RVP. (Essential)
  • Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Ensures guests and residents receive the highest levels of service consistent with Sun's Customer Service philosophy.
  • Consults RV Resort Manager or RVP to determine the best course of action in the event a question or situation does not have an established guideline.
  • Coordinates the timely distribution of rental increase and lease renewal notices (if applicable).
  • Coordinates with maintenance team to ensure vacant sites are prepared for home move-ins.
  • Ensures that overall resort appearance is well maintained and groomed to Sun's curb appeal standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1 year in experience in the property/resort management industry (Required)
  • 6 months in previous sales & leasing experience (Preferred)
  • 6 months in experience using NetSuite (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law
  • Basic computer proficiency including email, internet and Microsoft Office Suit
  • Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours
  • Required Certifications/Licensures:(Valid driver's license)
