What You'll Do

Teaching with passion and energy

You'll work closely with our lead teachers to create engaging experiences for our young learners.

Responsibilities

  • You will assist with planning activities that encourage curiosity and exploration
  • Support classroom operations and transitions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable day for everyone
  • Develop deep connections with children, listening to their interests and engaging them in meaningful ways
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community
  • Work collaboratively with lead teachers on lesson planning and shared materials, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience
  • Attend regular staff meetings and stay current with continuing education requirements
  • Model kindness, empathy, and good citizenship, setting a positive example for our children

Requirements

We're looking for someone with

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent experience
  • At least three years of experience working with preschool-age children
  • Familiarity with child-centered educational philosophies like Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or Piaget
  • A genuine passion for young learners and a commitment to their growth and well-being
  • Energy and enthusiasm for creating engaging and meaningful experiences
  • A love of learning and a desire to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
