Job Title: MBA Consultant, Enterprise Analytics & Insights

Location: Jericho, NY (On-site/4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Compensation: $35-$45 per hour

Position Overview

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc., a leading provider of gourmet food and floral gifts and a family of iconic brands, is seeking a highly motivated MBA candidate or recent graduate to support a 10-week strategic project focused on enterprise analytics and business insights.

This role will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver data-driven insights across the organization. The associate will help improve visibility into key metrics, streamline reporting processes, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations that drive business decisions.

This position is ideal for a current MBA student looking to gain hands-on consulting or corporate strategy experience while contributing to high-impact analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis related to business performance and enterprise analytics
  • Analyze key KPIs (Revenue, Conversion, AOV, ROAS, etc.) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Gather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights
  • Develop and refine dashboards and reporting tools to improve business visibility
  • Support the transition from manual reporting to automated, self-service analytics solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical approaches
  • Provide product and merchandising performance insights to support decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and reporting efficiency
  • Build models and analyses to support data-driven decision-making
  • Create presentations, reports, and executive summaries for leadership stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings and recommendations
  • Support project planning, milestone tracking, and deliverable execution
  • Present project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the engagement
