Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-energy and kid-loving instructor for the 1- to 8-year-old age range who will lead our children in fun and educational activities, ensuring safety and enrichment for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a teacher, nanny, daycare, coach, youth leader, camp leader, etc.), and genuinely loves children. This position is excellent for someone interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education or teaching. *Interviews, field evaluation, and a 3-month observation period will be mandatory for all new employees.

Requirements

Requirements:

    • Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old
    • Educational Requirements: Has a high school diploma, preferably with some college
    • Transportation: You must hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as you may need to work at multiple locations in a day
    • Schedule: The ideal candidate is consistently available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons, with the ability to work about 15 hours a week
    • Location: Classes are held at schools, daycares, pre-schools, parks, and recreational centers across Dallas County. Depending on the coach's primary residence, they may need to travel up to an hour to get to a class location


Required soft skills and professional skills:

    • You bring lots of energy and a personality that kids just love to be around
    • Being physically active, healthy, punctual, and organized is part of life
    • Ability to work with kids ranging from 12 months to 12 years old independently
    • Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
    • Always having a positive attitude
    • Willingness to be silly and sing short songs (even at the expense of embarrassing yourself)
    • Lots of patience
