Job description

Be the precision behind every perfect finish

It’s 2:15 p.m. in Avon, Ohio, and your shift begins. You review blueprints and travelers, print custom masking templates from .dxf files on a Cricut (training provided), and get hands-on with aerospace and aviation components that demand exacting standards. You’ll move parts in and out of paint booths and onto drying racks, carefully clean and prep them before and after paint, and verify that every piece meets quality expectations.

What your afternoon-to-evening looks like (2nd shift)
  • Mask complex geometries quickly, safely, and accurately to prepare parts for painting.
  • Create and apply masking templates from .dxf files using a Cricut (we will train you).
  • Load/unload components into paint booths and onto drying equipment.
  • Clean and prep parts before paint; remove masking and clean after paint as needed.
  • Follow blueprints, travelers, and work instructions to ensure correct masking and preparation.
  • Position products for next steps: further processing, inspection, or wrapping.
  • Check parts to confirm they meet quality standards.
  • Start paint-related machines/equipment and operate or assist with paint-process instruments.
  • Maintain a spotless work area and keep all paint-process equipment clean.
  • Adhere to all procedures for safe storage and handling of materials.
Schedule

2nd shift position: 5-day workweek, 8-hour shifts, 2:15 p.m.–10:45 p.m.

What you’ll bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated inspection ability and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with basic math.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Integrity and a strong, safety-first mindset.
