Advance your imaging career through our 16-week CT Cross-Training Program in partnership with Schoolcraft College. Designed for Radiologic Technologists, our structured ASRT-based program provides one-on-one training with an experienced CT preceptor, hands-on clinical experience, and dedicated support throughout your journey. This program offers a proven pathway to CT certification and career growth.

As a CT Technologist, you will be a valued member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team supporting a diverse patient population in a facility that offers 24/7 emergency care, a Level I Trauma Center, and nationally recognized specialty services in heart care, cancer care, stroke care, and orthopedics

CT imaging plays a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and emergent conditions, helping to support high-quality care across the continuum. This dynamic environment offers opportunities to support a broad range of service areas, including Emergency and Trauma, inpatient imaging, cardiac imaging, and procedural specialties, providing exposure to diverse and challenging clinical cases that help advance your professional growth. Our CT Technologists work in close collaboration with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals, fostering a strong culture of teamwork, respect, and clinical excellence.

Our department utilizes leading-edge technology from GE, giving team members experience with industry-leading imaging equipment and protocols. 

Scheduling flexibility is available to support work-life balance, including block scheduling, condensed scheduling options, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, as well as weekend-only opportunities.

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

  • Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. 
  • May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. 
  • Performs related duties as required. 
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. 
  • Must maintain the required hours of continued education. 
  • Healthcare Provider certification required. 
  • (BCLS) BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: 

  • One or more of the following: 
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
    • NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification. 
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire. 
  • Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
