Ansell is looking for a Senior Platform Data Analyst, AnsellGUARDIAN to join our team!

Work location in Iselin, NJ

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of the data that powers Ansell's safety assessment platform, algorithms, and AI-driven recommendation tools. Working closely with Product Management, Data Science, Engineering, and global Guardian teams, this role supports data pipeline monitoring and optimization across multiple enterprise systems, manages data transformation and quality initiatives, and contributes to the continuous enhancement of Guardian AI capabilities through analytics, testing, reporting, and actionable insights that drive product innovation and improve customer safety outcomes.

What your role will be?

  • Manage, monitor, and improve data pipelines across key enterprise systems (Salsify, GIS, TRMS, and other data sources), ensuring data quality, integrity, and readiness for analytics and AI applications.

  • Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and governance activities to support safety algorithms, digital products, and business decision-making.

  • Analyze platform data to identify usage trends, product performance insights, and opportunities to enhance customer outcomes and platform effectiveness.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators, algorithm accuracy, adoption, and business impact.

  • Support data integration initiatives by collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams to validate data flows and technical requirements.

  • Contribute to the development, testing, and continuous improvement of AI-powered features within the AnsellGUARDIAN platform.

  • Assist with user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, user acceptance testing (UAT), and AI feature validation.

  • Partner with product managers, data scientists, software engineers, and global Guardian teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Drive continuous improvement of data reliability, accessibility, and platform performance across the Guardian digital ecosystem.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 US Dollars per year. Specific salary for this role may vary within this range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Candidate may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field required.

  • Master's degree preferred but not required.

Job Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related roles, with the ability to independently manage data initiatives and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • Hands-on experience with data cleansing, transformation, validation, and visualization tools.

  • Experience working with large and complex datasets to drive insights and support business decisions.

  • Exposure to machine learning workflows, analytics platforms, or API-based data structures is preferred.

  • Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled products or participating in product management activities such as user story creation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and user research is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and digital product development environments.

  • Experience within B2B, industrial, healthcare, or digital platform organizations is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of interface definitions, JSON payloads, API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI), and SQL-based data analysis.

  • Experience with modern data platforms and technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Azure is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, system integrations, and cloud-based data ecosystems.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and API-based data exchange.
  • Experience working with large datasets, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
