Job description

The purpose of the Customer Service Representative role is to ensure all the data entry, scheduling updates, and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily warehouse operations and facilitate excellent communication between the customer and Covenant.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all date entry, scheduling updates and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily Colgate warehouse operations.
  • First line of communication between customer and Covenant
  • Prioritize and process both Inbound and Outbound paperwork and BOLs (Bill of Lading).
  • Aid Inventory Control to complete monthly cycle counts and update system accordingly
  • Complete data entry and reporting, as necessary.
  • Work and perform tasks in loud environments with color coded items.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to learn SAP and customer operating systems.
  • General safety knowledge
  • Ability to communicate; in person, or by computer, telephone, 2-way radio or another device.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and Micro Soft Office required.

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One year of previous administrative/warehouse experience is required.
