PRINCIPALS/DIRECTORS WILL POST IN OFFICE AREAS UPON RECEIPT
The Wirt County Board of Education announces the following extra-curricular employment opportunities for the 2026-27 school year:
Bus Aide
Hourly rate based on length of bus run
Job duties are to supervise and assist students during morning and afternoon bus runs on as needed basis through the end of the 2026-27 school term.
Qualifications:
  1. Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED
  2. Successful completion of aide exam required
  3. Complete the required bus aide training
  4. Must possess the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully carry out the duties of the position

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
  1. Ensure that students follow all bus regulations as required
  2. Support positive behavior support plans for students
  3. Assist students with regulating their behaviors
  4. Other duties as needed
