Chat and Change Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a qualified and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' histories and articulate suitable treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, employing a patient-first approach to care.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that create a supportive environment for clients to process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms and skills.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.
• Offer crisis intervention and support, including managing trauma-related emergencies and facilitating immediate care strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and resilience practices, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case consultations, team meetings, and keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

This role is centered around supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans, and first responders. The focus will be on providing compassionate care to clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, addressing their unique challenges and fostering a path towards healing.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and resilience-building strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and manage crisis interventions effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to ensure seamless operations.
• A collaborative spirit, embracing teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment to enhance client care.
