Independence Therapy Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into clients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, building resilience, and promoting mental well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful therapy to clients.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach, providing integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of our patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related situations, ensuring a supportive presence for clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings focused on enhancing our trauma-informed care approach.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, integrating best practices into clinical work to improve patient outcomes.

Our center serves individuals of all ages who are navigating the complex aftermath of trauma. Common diagnoses include PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. Understanding the nuanced needs of our clients is crucial, as therapy can often be a challenging process. Your role will be pivotal in creating a trusting therapeutic alliance, allowing clients to explore their experiences and work toward healing and recovery.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is essential.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and standard computer applications.
• A solid foundation in collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

• Two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with innovative therapeutic practices and continuous engagement in professional development.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual pay between USD 90,000 and 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
