Psychotherapy Family Crisis Intervention, Inc. is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma-focused therapy. This role is structured as a remote position within our outpatient office, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative team atmosphere. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's trauma history, guiding the development of effective treatment plans.
• Creating individualized treatment strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience through a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Implementing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.
• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions that support patients in processing their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and fostering emotional growth.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and various interdisciplinary professionals to ensure the holistic care of each patient.
• Providing crisis intervention and immediate guidance in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel supported during critical moments.
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with the tools for recovery.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the privacy and security of patient information.
• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Staying updated on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents dealing with the aftermath of trauma-related disorders. You will provide targeted therapeutic intervention for individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, contributing meaningfully to their paths toward healing and self-discovery.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.
• An active license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-licensure in trauma-focused settings.
• A comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment methodologies.
• A proven track record in administering trauma-informed therapeutic practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

While the minimum experience requirement is 2 years, candidates with additional credentials in advanced therapeutic techniques or specialized training in trauma will be highly regarded. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also a plus.

The compensation package for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
