Job description

Chiropractic Clinical Assistant

Location: Milton, Georgia
Position: Full-Time
Compensation: Based on experience; paid training available
Preferred Commute: Candidates living within approximately 15 miles of our Milton office are strongly preferred.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Chiropractic Clinical Assistant to join our busy chiropractic practice in Milton, Georgia.

The primary responsibility of this position is to work alongside and support the doctor in the treatment and examination rooms. This is a hands-on clinical position—not primarily a front-desk role—and requires someone who enjoys working directly with patients, can multitask, and is comfortable staying active throughout the workday.

Prior chiropractic, medical assisting, or X-ray experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and certifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with patient examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures
• Perform portions of patient examinations, including:

  • Height and weight
  • Blood pressure
  • Grip strength testing
  • MyoVision nerve, muscle, and range-of-motion scans
    • Take patient X-rays after appropriate training/certification
    • Accurately document examination findings and assist with clinical note-taking
    • Prepare patients for examinations and X-rays, including gowning and positioning
    • Set up, clean, and sanitize examination and treatment rooms
    • Assist with patient therapies after training, including cold laser therapy, stretching, and cold-pack application
    • Maintain efficient patient flow by communicating closely with the doctors and front-office team
    • Help ensure that patients receive a professional, organized, and positive experience throughout their visit

Occasional Additional Responsibilities

This is primarily a clinical position, but all team members work together when needed. Occasional duties may include:

• Answering phones or relaying messages when the front office needs assistance
• Learning basic medical coding and documentation procedures related to patient visits
• Assisting with other clinical or office tasks as needed

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting directly with patients
• Dependable and able to follow established clinical procedures carefully
• Comfortable learning new technology, testing procedures, and equipment
• Comfortable positioning patients and working hands-on with patients
• Physically able to spend much of a 6–8 hour workday on their feet and perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, adjusting treatment tables, and occasionally lifting office supplies or equipment
• Proficient with basic computer use; EHR experience is a plus
• A high school graduate or equivalent

Previous chiropractic, medical assisting, clinical, or X-ray experience is preferred but not required.

CPR certification and X-ray certification are a plus. Training is available for a motivated candidate who is a strong fit for our team.

What We Offer

• Paid on-the-job training
• Compensation based on experience and qualifications
• Opportunity to learn clinical procedures, diagnostic testing, and X-ray techniques
• Opportunities to grow and cross-train as your skills develop
• A professional, positive, and patient-centered work environment
• A stable position working directly with doctors and patients in a well-established chiropractic practice

The Person Who Will Thrive in This Position

You will likely be a great fit if you enjoy being busy, working with people, learning new skills, and paying attention to the small details that make a clinical office run smoothly.

We are especially interested in candidates who live within approximately 15 miles of our Milton, Georgia office and are looking for a long-term position with a healthcare team.
