About This Role

Chroma Early Learning is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic After School Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-age children during our after-school program. The After School Teacher will supervise children, assist with homework, serve afternoon snacks, and lead fun activities that promote learning, creativity, and positive social interactions.


What You'll Do

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Assist children with homework and provide encouragement and academic support as needed.

Prepare and serve afternoon snacks while following food safety guidelines.

Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities.

Foster positive relationships with children through patience, respect, and encouragement.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.

Communicate professionally with parents and team members regarding children's daily activities or concerns.

Follow all Chroma Early Learning policies and state childcare regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the program.


Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

Previous experience working with school-age children is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to supervise children in a safe, positive, and structured environment.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Must have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children.
