About the Role:
The Learning Experience in McKinney, TX is looking for an energetic and passionate Afterschool Teacher/Bus Driver to join our team! This unique dual role gives you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children both in the classroom and on the road. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage students in structured afterschool programs and activities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and enrichment activities
  • Safely transport children to and from school and program locations following all traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and bus environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and daily updates
  • Monitor student behavior and enforce positive discipline strategies
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:
Previous experience working with school-age children in an educational or childcare setting
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
