Looking for a kind, patient, fun-loving person to hang out with an awesome 12-year-old after school!

Our son is entering 6th grade. He is autistic, has ADHD and some anxiety, and is working hard toward independence. He's social, curious, adventurous, and loves biking, skateboarding, LEGO, cooking, his dog, and TV time!

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Pick him up/meet him after school & make sure he gets home safely
  • Spend a couple hours hanging out, playing, walking the dog, or working on homework
  • Provide structure, encouragement & positive boundaries
  • Roll with the unexpected and have a sense of humor!

Experience with autism, ADHD, or neurodivergent kids is an extra, but 100% NOT required. Great opportunity for a college student, future teacher/therapist, or anyone who genuinely enjoys working with kids.

~20 hours/week | $23/hour

Our family is connected with the Regional Center, and a portion of the position is funded through respite services. We supplement the funding to bring total pay to $23/hour.
