Job Title:           Kumon Center Assistant

Location:          4610 Eldorado pkwy, McKinney- TX

Job Type:          Part-time hours (typically 4 days per week, 3-6.30pm)

Pay:                    Starting at $10 per hour.

 About Us

Kumon is the world’s largest after-school math and reading enrichment program. At our center, we are dedicated to helping students from age 4 to 14 years of age.

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Kumon Center Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting students, grading assignments, preparing materials, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the center.

Responsibilities

  • Guide Early Learners (ages 3–7) through worksheets and ensure they study assigned material.
  • Guide students ages 8-14 with Math & Reading assignments.
  • Grade and log homework and classwork into student records.
  • Support the Kumon team with instructional tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in math and reading skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be a citizen or have work authorization.
