AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an Area Manager, you'll support Site Directors and Group Leaders across multiple locations, helping ensure high-quality programs, strong operations, licensing compliance, and positive relationships with families and school partners.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

  • Enjoys leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced, student-centered environment
  • Feels confident coaching Site Directors and stepping in to support operations when needed
  • Takes pride in delivering a high-quality, consistent experience for students, families, and school partners
  • Makes child safety and licensing compliance a non-negotiable priority
  • Is organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple sites and priorities

In this role, you will:

  • Own the overall performance of multiple sites, including program quality, staffing, licensing compliance, and financial results
  • Lead, evaluate, and develop Site Directors through regular one-on-ones, goal setting, and performance reviews
  • Set priorities and strategic direction for your area to drive enrollment growth, retention, and operational consistency
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for school partners, district leaders, and key stakeholders
  • Make final decisions related to staffing, corrective action, escalations, and site-level challenges
  • Ensure all sites meet or exceed AlphaBEST standards for safety, curriculum delivery, and compliance
  • Represent AlphaBEST as a senior leader at school meetings, community events, and company initiatives

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; BA or BS in Business Management, Education, or related field preferred. A master's degree or higher is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Previous experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience preferred
  • Ability to travel locally and attend company meetings and training sessions (may include occasional out-of-state travel)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
