Virginia-Highland Elementary School

My After School Program is a great company to be a part of, and we are looking for GREAT people to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year!

Position Details

  • Location: Virginia-Highland Elementary School
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM (occasionally until 6:00 PM)
  • Start Date for Training: July 27, 2026
  • First Day of School: August 3, 2026
  • Pay: $15-$28 per hour based on education, experience, and certifications

Employment Requirements

  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification Required (training available)
  • Clear Background Check Required
  • Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities

My After School Program – Virginia-Highland Elementary

The Classroom Teacher plays an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching after-school experience for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Teachers work as part of a team to support student success while maintaining a positive, professional environment for children, families, school staff, and fellow team members.

Academic Support

  • Provide guidance and motivation to help students complete assigned tasks
Activity Planning & Implementation
  • Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate lessons and activities

  • Implement activities that support social, emotional, physical, and academic development
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop enrichment activities and programming
