Familiarity with on-set protocols, audition processes, and sometimes basic video recording or editing tools are also beneficial. After school child actors are young performers, typically under the age of 18, who participate in acting roles or projects outside of regular school hours. They may work in theater, television, film, commercials, or online productions, often balancing their acting commitments with their education. These children are usually represented by agents and may require work permits or parental supervision on set, depending on local regulations.
