Job description

  • Starting Pay: NC01, $16.33 (subject to changes)
    • Knowledge of Community Schools Policies.
    • Basic knowledge of educational and recreational programming.
    • Ability to supervise groups of children.
    • Ability to communicate with individuals on various levels.
    • Complete 8-hours of in-service training before the DCDEE State compliance visit for the staff's base school.
    • Complete and/or maintain CPR/First Aid and Basic School Age Care certification before the DCDEE State compliance visit for the staff's base school.
    • Assist in taking attendance daily for the group you are responsible for and supervising.
    • Complete required weekly scheduling activities for your responsible group along with weekly reports.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies, snacks and other materials used in the program.
    • Supervise groups of children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
