Job description

Overview As Affiliate Network Director, you will be responsible for growing and overseeing the Affiliate Network at a managerial level to ensure goals are met and details are checked. The Affiliate Network Director will manage and oversee both the affiliate and sales teams. This role includes high level business development duties, advertiser cap management, and overall maximization of client and affiliate relationships from a managerial standpoint.

Candidate must reside in Southern California or be willing to move there. (relocation is available for the right person) Responsibilities Manage the network sales and affiliate teams to ensure revenue and ROI goals are met at a high level. Oversee and aid in affiliate recruitment, manage caps, foster, develop & retain high traffic, high revenue generating affiliates.

Optimize all aspects of affiliate network and programs through established and new traffic partners Implement initiatives that enhance affiliate productivity, create new growth opportunities and increase ROI. Affiliate Management - Actively motivates the affiliate management team to encourage and incentivize affiliates to perform better. This may be through special revenue generating promotions, contests, goals setting with selected and known top industry performers.

Utilizing strong sales technique, close deals with new advertisers and affiliates to increase size and profitability. Prioritize execution strategy based on revenue potential. Ability to understand and verbalize technical language involved in affiliate implementation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in marketing, business development with at least 3-5 years in affiliate management for an online business in B2C environment. Must be fluent and skilled in the internet marketing sales process, the health and beauty/ Free Trial industry, and Facebook/Display marketing strategies.

Experience with on-boarding and negotiating with affiliates and advertisers/merchants Experienced in the process of prospecting, contacting and recruiting strong partners as well as team management experience Experience evaluating creative messages, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns.

At least 3 years of experience of closing sales and meeting aggressive sales goals Effective project management skills Must be outgoing and engaging – able to represent the company enthusiastically Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team player with the ability to operate as a leader and motivator Experience working in a fast-paced environment (start-up experience a plus) Ethical individual able to identify win-win opportunities.
