Job Summary/Description:

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, organized, and driven National Account Coordinator for Gray’s Telemundo Affiliate Station Group consisting of 46 affiliates across the country. This media professional will work out of Gray’s HQ, which is in Atlanta, GA. The Account Coordinator will assist our Regional Sales Executives in transactional support and be responsible for the overall administrative sales duties. Key tasks include entering orders, creating packages, assisting with make-goods, communicating commercial airtimes, coordinating ad copy, responding to incoming requests, getting credit approvals, and following up on invoice discrepancies/collections. This is a demanding position in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment involving all platforms (Linear TV and Digital).

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for entering broadcast television and digital orders, creating packages, and assisting with make-goods for Gray’s Telemundo Affiliate Station Group.
• Responsible for communicating commercial airtimes, coordinating ad copy, and responding to incoming requests.
• Responsible for getting credit approvals and following up on invoice discrepancies/collections.
• Enter orders into the Wide Orbit system and verify accuracy.
• Assist with avails, linking with historical rates, and creating packages/proposals for Regional Executives' approval.
• Pull daily pre-emption reports and contact clients and stations for make-good approvals.
• Assist Regional/National Account Executives with posting and pre-posting media buys.
• Responsible for receiving ad copy from client or production department and communicating airtimes to clients.
• Obtaining credit approval, creating profiles for new accounts, and responding to incoming requests.
• Follow up with our stations, agencies, and customers on invoice discrepancies/collections and other general administrative tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with all of Gray Media’s Telemundo stations.
• Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenges simultaneously.
• Create sales and marketing sponsorship/promotion plans, literature, and advertising proposals for clients.
• Work with internal departments to manage account stewardship through the order process.
• Attend sales meetings, training sessions, client meetings, and off-site promotional events.
• Bring a high energy level, ambition, intensity, and long-term perspective to be a core part of building something genuinely significant over time.
• Be a self-starter, resourceful, and able to identify and articulate opportunities for product/process improvement with significant revenue potential.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2-3 years of broadcast/digital sales coordinator experience
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and knowledge of Wide Orbit and Matrix.
• Relationship builder with an engaging and energetic personality and desire to contribute to the team to win.
• Goal-driven and self-motivated individual.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a highly pressured, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong written, presentation, marketing, and closing skills.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be willing to work in Atlanta.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurance.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
