The AFE Analyst is responsible for developing comprehensive, contract-compliant cost estimates for Integrated Solutions project tenders. This role translates well engineering activity plans into detailed, product-line-specific cost structures while serving as a critical interface between Well Engineering, Commercial, Risk, and Product Line teams.

As an AFE Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing activity-based cost estimates for Integrated Solutions tenders, ensuring full scope coverage aligned with well engineering activity plans.
  • Engaging with Product Line leadership and Subject Matter Experts to validate operational assumptions, challenge cost drivers, and confirm estimate accuracy.
  • Producing detailed cost breakdowns and pricing models that comply with customer requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Working closely with commercial and risk teams to identify, assess, and incorporate project risks and contingency requirements into estimates.
  • Analyzing market intelligence and industry trends to support accurate cost modeling and commercial decision-making.
  • Supporting commercial teams by providing transparent cost structures, competitive positioning insights, and pricing inputs for Price-to-Win strategies.
  • Maintaining estimation databases, benchmarks, historical data, and lessons learned repositories to drive continuous improvement.
  • Presenting cost assumptions, methodologies, and commercial recommendations during governance reviews and assurance processes.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess 10 - 15+ years of experience in tenders and cost / pricing activities within the energy, industrial, engineering, or related sectors.
