What is an aesthetician assistant?

Aesthetician Assistants support licensed aestheticians in providing skincare treatments and services. Their duties often include preparing treatment rooms, organizing supplies, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with basic skincare procedures under supervision. They play a vital role in ensuring that aesthetic practices run smoothly and efficiently, helping both the clients and the lead aesthetician. Aesthetician Assistants may also provide information about skincare products and aftercare instructions to clients. While they do not perform advanced treatments independently, they gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of esthetics.

This role requires excellent organizational skills and a friendly demeanor, as assistants often serve as the initial point of contact for clients and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere.
