We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team as Production Scheduler in our aerospace division.ย  The ideal candidate for this role will have production scheduling experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting, very strong organization & attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.ย ย 

Purpose:

To schedule work orders to support of our customer delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all jobs including scheduling and maintaining documentations, which include:
  • Utilize ERP and independent systems to help monitor, evaluate, prioritize and plan work orders.
  • Open and print POP shop work orders, print drawings and any related documentation.
  • Analyze production history and customer backlog to determine economic order quantity (EOQ), with an emphasis on level loading shop capacity.
  • Work closely with Production supervisors to prioritize work.
  • Work closely with Aerospace purchasing department to resolve any material shortages.
  • Maintain a team philosophy in all areas of planning, coordination and problem solving. Work closely with individuals in production, engineering, planning, quality assurance and purchasing to achieve production goals.
  • Assist other company expeditors in processing all new job orders, which includes scheduling the job and maintaining all related documentation.
  • Assist other company expeditors in processing, checking in, and verifying material. Notify expeditor of any discrepancies.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Effective problem solving abilities.
  • Strong organization and prioritizing skills required. Exceptionally strong attention to detail and strong ability to follow through to support production schedules and deadlines.
  • Computer skills including proficiency with Excel. Numbers orientated.
  • Oracle experience a plus.
  • Ability to navigate websites.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solving effectively.
  • Commitment to the job and the department to meet customer expectations.
  • Ability to work schedule as assigned.
