Reports To: Parts Manager

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $28.00-$37.00 per hour, depending on experience

MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist, Parts - Defense to support our growing Defense Aftermarket Parts business. In this role, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for defense and government customers, providing responsive parts sales support, quotations, order management, and outstanding customer service.


Working closely with Outside Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and other internal teams, you'll help deliver aftermarket parts solutions that maximize equipment readiness and mission success for customers who depend on reliable performance.


What You'll DoCustomer & Parts Sales Support
  • Serve as the primary inside sales contact for assigned defense and government aftermarket parts customers.ย 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-up.ย 
  • Prepare accurate quotations and proposals while ensuring competitive pricing.ย 
  • Follow up on quotes to secure orders and identify additional sales opportunities.ย 
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, lead times, and technical information.ย 
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the company's aftermarket product portfolio.ย 
Order Management
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.ย 
  • Monitor open orders and coordinate expedited deliveries when needed.ย 
  • Provide proactive order status updates and exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.ย 
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM and ERP systems.ย 
Sales Operations
  • Maintain pricing, quotations, contracts, and customer documentation.ย 
  • Support forecasting, sales reporting, pipeline management, and territory planning.ย 
  • Assist with contract renewals, customer account reviews, and commercial documentation.ย 
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, lead times, and special customer requirements.ย 
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Outside Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.ย 
  • Support strategic defense programs through effective communication and execution.ย 
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns while building long-term relationships.ย 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support onboarding of new team members when needed.ย 
Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Maintain accurate documentation supporting government and defense compliance requirements.ย 
  • Ensure adherence to company pricing, documentation, and commercial policies.ย 
  • Support internal audits and pricing governance.ย 
  • Recommend improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.ย

  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, aftermarket parts sales, customer service, or defense/aerospace sales support.ย 
  • Experience supporting customers in defense, military, government, aerospace, marine, power generation, diesel engine, or industrial equipment industries.ย 
  • Experience with CRM platforms, ERP systems, and quoting software.ย 
  • Knowledge of government contracting or regulated commercial environments is a plus.ย 
  • Ability to understand technical product information and customer requirements.ย
