Your Challenge:
- Inspect, audit, measure, and functionally test products or materials, parts, subassemblies, and packaging for damage, defects, or shortages, using specification sheets, gauges, and standards
- Perform Inspection of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order requirements
- Perform in-process inspection of parts being manufactured
- Perform pre-shipment inspections
- Able to interpret and read engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing
- Perform product and process audits for in process conformance to drawings/specification on large and small machined products, weldments, assemblies, and individual manufactured components
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of hands-on machine shop inspection experience required.
- Knowledge and experience within the field of Quality (ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, GD&T).
- Ability to use inspection equipment; such as: Surface Plate, Height Gage, Comparator, Hand tools, Attribute gages, etc.
- Ability to perform detailed review of documentation/certification to requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
- Liquid Penetrant Examination experience
- Experience with Keyence measuring equipment
