This role will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). You will be responsible for driving projects to successful completion within defined timelines and budgets, serving as the central point of coordination across all workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements for multiple simultaneous engineering projects.
  • Monitor and track project progress on a regular basis, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and deviations from plan.
  • Facilitate cross-team communication and coordination to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on priorities, status, and decisions.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reporting to the CTO.
  • Lead project status meetings, prepare meeting agendas, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner and work with engineering leads and the CTO to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and change logs.
  • Coordinate resource allocation across engineering teams to ensure the right people are working on the right tasks at the right time.
  • Define and enforce project management best practices, processes, and tools across all managed workstreams.
  • Drive accountability among team members to meet commitments and deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule.

Qualification Requirement:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex technical or engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and tracking costs.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with technical teams and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar).
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualification:

  • Background in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working in a technology-driven organization or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering workflows, software development lifecycles, and technical project constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours of Work, Work Environment and Potential Travel
