Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner to support an MESci manufacturing planning rewrite within the BDS Fabrication organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, standardize, and implement manufacturing plans, ensuring alignment with engineering and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support MESci manufacturing planning rewrite initiatives within the BDS Fabrication organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized manufacturing plans
  • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials (BOM), and work instructions
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of manufacturing documentation and processes
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables such as installation plans, tool orders, and line stock checks
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardization efforts

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
  • Experience with 3D model-based work instructions
  • Proficiency with tools such as Siemens NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, or DELMIA
  • Experience working with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
  • Experience reviewing and approving other engineersโ€™ work

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires an Associate degree with 3+ years of related experience, or
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree with 1+ years of related experience, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., 5+ years of relevant experience)
