This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, NY office.

Salary Range for this position is $22.00- $26.00 hourly, depending on experience.

This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.

Position Summary:

The IT Intern will support the Information Technology team by assisting with documentation of legacy systems, engineering licenses, and applications while gaining hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. This role will also assist with basic help desk support and general IT-related tasks to support day-to-day operations.

Key Position Accountabilities:

  • Shadow IT Technicians and assist with documenting legacy systems, engineering licenses, and applications.
  • Assist with basic help desk support tasks including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Support end users with routine technical inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and organization of IT equipment.
  • Help maintain accurate IT documentation and records.
  • Participate in IT projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company systems and information.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Bohemia, NY. May-August
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting concepts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
