Job description
L'Ecole de technologie superieure (ETS) is a rapidly evolving university in engineering and technology located in downtown Montreal. ETS offers undergraduate and graduate programs focused on applied engineering as well as state-of-the-art research infrastructure. ETS is also home to the Centech, a business incubator, offering support services for researchers wishing to commercialize their research.
Contributing to Quebec's economic and technological development is part of ETS mission. A new campus will be developed in Longueuil, Quebec, close to Montreal. A strategic collaboration with the City of Longueuil, the Ecole nationale d'aerotechnique (ENA) and the Centre technologique en aerospatiale (CTA), will enable ETS to be part of a dynamic ecosystem of training, research and innovation in aerospace engineering.
By joining ETS, you will join a very dynamic and diverse research environment. Your work will make a concrete contribution to scientific progress and the development of Quebec's productivity and competitiveness as well as the training of a highly qualified workforce.
What we offer :Â
- A start-up and an equipment fund to support your scientific career
- Financial support for research and teaching (teaching and research supervision credits, funds to pay exam's correction staff, etc.).
- A personalized onboarding process
- A structure to promote your research as well as networking activity to make yourself know and help you recruit students.Â
- A work environment favourable to your career development, both for research and teaching.
- A mentor program for all the faculty members offered at your arrival and throughout your career.
- Support for the immigration process and a relocation program for your family

Dive into Aerospace Engineering!
Our department offers several study programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. These training courses are led by professors who have diverse and complementary expertise, thus promoting the emergence of innovative multidisciplinary approaches. In addition, we actively encourage interdisciplinary collaborations with other departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Software and Computer Engineering, as well as Electrical Engineering, for the realization of projects that are both complex and innovative.
At the heart of our educational approach lies a strong emphasis on practical learning. Our students benefit from concrete projects, simulations, workshops and design challenges that stimulate their creativity and know-how. These projects are not just academic exercises; they represent cutting-edge research relevant to the aerospace industry. We frequently collaborate with government organizations, companies in the aerospace sector and research laboratories, thus giving a concrete and application dimension to our teaching.
