We are seeking a driven and business-savvy Controls system Design Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the oil and gas field while contributing to impactful projects. The intern will support various engineering tasks, including design and analysis, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
What You will Do:
• Conduct research and analysis to support project requirements.
• Support the controls team in the development of engineered solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to solve technical problems.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports that contribute towards engineered solutions.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support senior engineers.
What You Will Bring:
• Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a engineering mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet business deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a business environment.
Pay Range: ($12 to $16/hr).
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, TX
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
