CNC Operator

  • Location: Stratford, CT (On-site)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our 1st-shift production team. In this role, you will run large production lots of aerospace components that span weeks or even months. You will ensure consistent part quality, monitor tool wear, and collaborate with your teammates to meet strict delivery deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

  • Tend CNC machine tools to ensure continuous, efficient operation during high-volume production runs.
  • Inspect parts coming off the machine using standard precision measuring instruments to verify blueprints.
  • Make corrective actions and machine adjustments to maintain strict part quality and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean area and organized workstation to ensure safe operations.
  • Work with others across the shop floor to solve production challenges and optimize workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required: Proven ability to run large lots of parts consistently over long production cycles.
  • Required: Strong attention to detail and capability to handle repetitive, high-precision inspection.
  • Required: Excellent teamwork, reliable attendance, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Prior professional history working on CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Previous experience reading blueprints or manufacturing setups within the aerospace sector.
