Job description

  • Java & Groovy Scripts expertise for both Magnolia and AEM environments.
  • Familiarity with JCR repository structure and Sling framework.
  • Knowledge of HTL (Sightly) for AEM front-end development.
  • Experience with Maven for build and deployment.
  • Access to migration tools or development of custom scripts.
  • Version control system (Git) in place.
  • CI/CD pipeline configured for automated deployments.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design and execute the migration plan from different CMS Platforms to AEM as a Cloud Service,
  • including content mapping, data transformation, and codebase conversion.
  • Build complex, high-performance web applications using Java, J2EE, Sling Models, OSGi, and HTL.
  • Develop and maintain AEM components, editable-templates, dialogs, and workflows using
  • HTL (HTML Template Language) and Java.
  • Proven experience in CMS migration projects (specifically from other CMS platforms to other
  • JCR-based systems to AEM).
  • Refactor existing Magnolia components to follow AEMaaCS best practices,
  • including moving away from local server reliance to cloud-native, stateless application principles.
  • Develop scripts or tools to automate the migration of content, assets, and metadata from Different
  • CMS Platform to AEM DAM.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AEM Cloud Manager (Git, Maven, Jenkins).
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions (Target, Analytics) and third-party APIs.
  • Deep knowledge of Apache HTTP Server and Dispatcher module, specifically for AEMaaCS.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and stability by implementing efficient caching strategies and code,
  • Ensuring zero-downtime deployment.
  • Guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish development best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Dispatcher configuration and CDN strategies for performance.
