Job Description:
Provides oversight of the daily operations of the assigned department including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets. Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy. This individual may perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient's health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family's self-management skills. Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.
Experience
2 year's nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.
