Position Summary:

We seek a Senior Advisory Associate for our Buckhead office. This role provides technical and operational support to Wealth and Senior Wealth Advisors. Serving as the primary internal liaison, they help ensure delivery of agreed-upon client service standards across assigned relationships.


Key responsibilities include building and maintaining financial plans, preparing meeting materials, managing financial planning software, inputting client data, and developing client-ready deliverables. Senior Advisory Associate may attend client meetings to take notes and handle basic client inquiries but do not provide financial advice.


Job Responsibilities:


General Support

  • Provide analysis, client service, and technical support to senior team members.
  • Develop technical expertise across investments, cash flow projections, insurance, tax, and estate planning to prepare for a future Wealth Advisor role.
  • Coordinate meeting follow-ups and collaborate with team members as needed.
  • Train, coach, and mentor junior team members.
  • Contribute to team initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and control through system and process enhancements.
  • Create, edit, and format professional documents using Microsoft Office Suite.

Analytical Support

  • Analyze client data and prepare reports, presentations, and financial plans.
  • Enter and maintain information in financial planning software; produce specialized reports and analyses.
  • Assist in preparing investment policy statements.

Advisory Support

  • Attend client meetings to take notes and, when appropriate, present limited materials.
  • Support Wealth Advisors in managing client service-scheduling, preparation, meeting participation, and follow-up.
  • Address basic client inquiries and assist clients with account access and portal navigation.
  • Coordinate with custodians to obtain account information as needed.
  • Maintain accurate client data in the CRM and ensure portfolio reports are complete and accurate before client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2-4 years of relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting client relationships
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with financial planning, CRM, and Portfolio reporting software
  •  Series 65 or CFP strongly preferred 
  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check required
