Targeted Victory is seeking an Advertising Operations Director to join our Advertising team. This role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of advertising campaigns across traditional and digital media channels, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, delivered efficiently, and supported by strong quality assurance, reporting, media buying, and vendor management practices.

This individual will report directly to the Advertising Managing Director and will lead day-to-day campaign operations, workflow management, team coordination, and media activation while partnering closely with department leadership to execute strategic priorities and drive operational excellence across the department.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active involvement in campaign setup, trafficking, media buying, QA, troubleshooting, vendor management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will provide strong operational leadership that enables the Managing Director to focus on strategic initiatives, business development, and department growth. Applicants must be able to work in person at our Arlington, VA office.


Advertising Operations
  • Manage day-to-day advertising operations across active client campaigns, including campaign setup, trafficking, quality assurance, launch, pacing, optimization support, and reporting workflows
  • Ensure operational excellence, campaign delivery standards, and best practices across all media channels
  • Identify operational risks and proactively troubleshoot and resolve platform, tracking, pacing, reporting, and other campaign-related issues
  • Monitor campaign performance and execution to ensure accurate delivery, efficiency, and client success
Media Buying & Campaign Execution
  • Support media buying and execution efforts across traditional and digital channels, managing campaigns across multiple advertising platforms
  • Monitor budget pacing and delivery performance, inventory sourcing, and media activation efforts to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively from activation through delivery 
  • Assist with audience strategy implementation and campaign deployment
  • Support audience strategy implementation and execute Private Marketplace (PMP), Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), Preferred Deal, and direct publisher activations
Vendor Management
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors, publishers, platform partners, and data providers, coordinating communications and issue resolution as needed
  • Evaluate new media opportunities and inventory sources
  • Assist with pricing, inventory, media execution discussions, and the management of vendor agreements and partnerships
Quality Assurance & Reporting
  • Own campaign QA processes and launch readiness reviews, including pre-launch and post-launch quality assurance
  • Ensure tracking, attribution, reporting, and campaign settings are implemented accurately
  • Conduct pre-launch and post-launch quality assurance reviews
  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance trends, and support development of reporting frameworks and operational dashboards
Team Support & Workflow Management
  • Assist with workload management and project prioritization
  • Support onboarding and training initiatives
  • Promote adherence to operational standards and best practice while serving as an in-office resource for advertising team members
  • Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency and scalability

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, media buying, or related advertising functions
  • Demonstrated experience executing campaigns across both traditional and digital advertising channels, including campaign trafficking, media buying, reporting, measurement, quality assurance, and optimization workflows
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns directly within advertising platforms
  • Experience executing: Private Marketplace (PMP) Deals, Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) Deals, Preferred Deals, and Direct Publisher Activations
  • Experience working with media vendors, publishers, and platform partners
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills. with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work from the office on a regular basis and serve as an in-person operational resource for the advertising team

  • Traditional & Offline Media: Broadcast and Cable Television, OTT, and Streaming Video, Terrestrial Radio and Streaming Audio Print, Out-of-Home (OOH), Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), Billboard Advertising, Sponsorships and Custom Media Integrations
  • Media Buying & Vendor Management: Direct Publisher Relationships, Audience and Data Partnerships, Vendor Negotiations, and Rate Management
