About the Role


As an Advertising Sales Representative based in San Marcos, Texas, you will manage the full sales cycle within your assigned territory. You will meet with local businesses, understand their marketing needs, and present effective advertising solutions across the San Marcos Daily Record, SanMarcosRecord.com, and a suite of digital advertising options.


This is an active sales role. You will be responsible for prospecting new business, reconnecting with past advertisers, leading meetings with decision makers and closing business. Success in this position comes from consistent outreach, thoughtful follow up and the ability to confidently ask for the business.


You will build your own pipeline, develop relationships with local businesses and present strategic advertising solutions across both print and digital platforms. Our CRM and digital sales tools are designed to support your efforts and help you stay organized and effective.
