Job description

Title: Circular Marketing Promotional Coordinator
Location: Woonsocket, RI 02895 Hybrid {2 days Onsite (Tuesday -  Wednesday) 3 days Remote (Monday, Thursday and Friday)}
Duration: 06 Months
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/- on W2
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The position is junior-level, requiring 1+ years of experience in advertising or merchandising.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is critical due to error tracking.
- Required software experience includes Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Acrobat, etc.); internal tools will be trained.
As the Circular Marketing Promotional Coordinator, you will be responsible for the advisement, accuracy, and execution of all the offers and pricing promotional details associated with the weekly ad and special promotional event activity for an assigned group of Category Managers.
You will deliver on all facets and responsibilities through the entire Weekly Ad Process, including consultation before and during circular marketing ad slotting, ad approval processes, ExtraBuck Offer coordination with relationship marketing, ad change management, identification and reconciliation of ad issues, communication. Responsible for follow-up with various key stakeholders, such as Inventory, Advertising Creative and Production, the signing department, merchants, and vendors. Additionally, you will be responsible for the ad and POS scanning accuracy, help desk, and customer complaint resolution.
Additional functions of this role will include:
- Accuracy – You will be responsible for promo offer and pricing accuracy across multiple ad versions. You will follow established processes to assure ads are free of compliance fines and customer complaints/dissatisfaction, and that a financial impact (sales/margin impact) is made. You will also be required to multi-task and work to meet strict deadlines.
- Advise and Consult – You will be in a support role for the Circular Marketing team on all item/price promotional activity. You will also advise and offer expertise on offer construction, system and compliance requirements, and overall general knowledge of promotions.
- Compliance Management and Risk – You will advise on and ensure offer compliance and will work with multiple departments, including Compliance, Legal, Production, and Signing, to ensure we are compliant.
- Audit Function – You will review all information coming from suppliers and CMs to ensure promotional plans meet key parameters.
- Communication – You will be the "hub” for all departments as it relates to promotions, including Inventory, Stores, ExtraCare, Production, Creative, Customer Relations, etc. by utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in advertising or merchandising
• Background in circular marketing
• 1-2 years' experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, Acrobat
Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
