This is not a traditional marketing position.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, building systems, analyzing data, and finding innovative ways to connect prospective students with life-changing educational opportunities.
Position Summary
The Director of Growth & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing Hawaii Medical College's growth strategy.
Success in this position is measured by one outcome:
Generating qualified prospective students who enroll and succeed.
You will oversee marketing strategy, CRM automation, AI implementation, digital advertising, content creation, website optimization, reporting, and enrollment marketing initiatives.
This position reports directly to the President.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Growth Strategy
  • Develop and execute annual enrollment marketing plans
  • Increase qualified inquiries and student starts
  • Improve marketing return on investment
  • Identify new enrollment channels and partnership opportunities
Marketing & Advertising
  • Manage Google Ads and paid digital campaigns
  • Improve SEO and website performance
  • Coordinate social media strategy
  • Develop email and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Oversee creative vendors and agency relationships when appropriate
AI & Automation
  • Build marketing automations using HighLevel and other AI tools
  • Improve CRM workflows
  • Implement lead nurturing campaigns
  • Design AI-assisted communication systems
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks
Content & Brand
  • Develop compelling content across video, social media, blogs, and email
  • Help position Hawaii Medical College as Hawaii's trusted healthcare workforce education leader
