Full-time

Job description

Creative Strategist & Social Media Manager

Tradition Coffee Roasters is looking for an exceptional creative strategist & social media expert to help shape the future of our brand.

We're not looking for someone to simply create content or manage a posting schedule. We're looking for someone who sees the bigger picture—someone who can build a long-term creative strategy, inspire a team, and help tell a story that people want to be part of.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, award-winning specialty coffee company where creativity isn't just encouraged—it's expected.

As a small company, every person has a voice. We welcome new ideas, thoughtful challenges, and creative leadership. If you're excited by building something meaningful, developing systems that scale, and helping shape a brand with national ambitions, we'd love to meet you.

This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work remotely when appropriate, balanced with in-person collaboration for creative planning, filming, photography, and live content creation.

We recognize that building an exceptional brand isn't a one-person job. Our goal is to find the right creative leader to establish the vision, develop systems, find the partners and help build a talented freelance creative roster while laying the foundation for a future in-house creative team.

What You'll Do

• Develop and own a long-term creative and social media strategy aligned with our business growth goals.

• Establish measurable short- and long-term objectives while continuously refining strategy based on analytics and performance.

• Manage and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.

• Film, photograph, edit, and publish engaging content that brings our brand, coffee, people, and community to life.

• Lead and coordinate our roster of freelance photographers, videographers, and content creators, ensuring a cohesive creative vision, consistent brand voice, and efficient project execution across all channels.

• Develop content calendars and campaign strategies that support product launches, seasonal promotions, events, educational content, and community engagement.

• Work closely with our marketing and paid advertising team to ensure creative content supports broader business objectives.

• Capture live events, café experiences, coffee education, behind-the-scenes moments, and brand collaborations.

• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency, creative development, and content production.

• Track analytics, monitor industry trends, and continually adapt our strategy as platforms evolve.

Who You Are

• A strategic thinker who enjoys creating long-term plans while thriving in the fast-paced world of social media.

• An exceptional project manager who can organize people, ideas, timelines, and priorities.

• Comfortable managing multiple creative projects simultaneously using project management tools such as Asana while keeping collaborators, deadlines, and campaigns moving forward.

• A creative storyteller who understands that every piece of content should support a larger brand narrative.

• Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, with the ability to capture authentic moments and transform them into compelling stories.

• A confident communicator who collaborates well, gives thoughtful feedback, receives direction with humility, and motivates others.

• Naturally curious, constantly learning, and passionate about staying ahead of emerging trends, technology, and platform changes.

• Experienced using video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar platforms.

• Excited by the opportunity to help build a department within a small and growing business, not simply fill a position.

We'd Love It If You Have

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field.

• Experience leading creative campaigns, managing social media strategy, and/or building a recognizable brand.

• Experience coordinating influencers, partnerships, and community collaborations.

• Strong organizational skills for scheduling, project management, and campaign execution.

• Experience with project management platforms such as Asana and marketing tools like Klaviyo, Google Workspace, Later, or similar software.

• An appreciation for specialty coffee, hospitality, food, travel, or lifestyle brands.

Benefits

• Full-time position with health benefits.

• Company laptop provided.

• Hybrid work environment with flexibility and creative collaboration.

• Performance-based raises and leadership opportunities.

• Opportunities to travel for content creation, events, and brand activations.

• Significant opportunities for professional growth as we continue expanding nationally and internationally.

Why Tradition?

We're more than a coffee company.

We're educators, storytellers, hospitality professionals, and lifelong learners who believe coffee creates community.

We've built an award-winning specialty coffee company by continually asking, "How can we make this experience better?" That same mindset shapes how we approach creativity, marketing, and the people who join our team.

If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where creativity has real influence, and where you can help build something meaningful from the inside out, we'd love to hear from you.

In the title of your application, please put your name and superpower and include a social post that you are proud of.
